As in Styrofoam + Stonehenge.

It was an April Fool’s Day prank in 2004. Surprised?

It’s an EXACT replica, down to stone shape. And simply because artist Mark Cline could. It’s in Virginia, with glorious views. And there’s really not much more to say about Foamhenge. I spent about as much time telling you about it and prepping the pictures as I spent there.

How’d They Do That?

Did you know that one of the theories about Stonehenge’s viability has something to do with Merlin? I didn’t. According to a sign and statue at Foamhenge, that’s the case (so it must be true). I didn’t research beyond it. Feel free to do so if you like (and educate me if you so desire. )

What’s the coolest thing you’ve seen made out of Styrofoam?

Foamhenge and Merlin

I think the Merlin thing is true. We’ve been to a few henges around here, and he comes up quite a bit!
