It’s not often that the journey actually IS the destination. When driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is most definitely the case.

Sure, you may have a place to go, but the going is a delight and you’re happy to let it take a while.

The BRP is the spine of the Appalachian Mountains and is older than the Himalayas, Andes and the Rockies. I did not know that.

The Long and Winding Road
That’s a bit of an understatement. Driving is fun and exhausting – so many curves and hills. And a girl definitely has to know how to shift gears!
